Our Mission
At Eco Explorer, we believe every child is a natural explorer.
They’re curious. They ask questions. They want to understand how the world works—and where they fit in it.
At Eco Explorer, we believe every child is a natural explorer.
They’re curious. They ask questions. They want to understand how the world works—and where they fit in it.
Today’s kids are growing up in a world that feels increasingly disconnected from nature.
At the same time, the challenges facing our planet—from habitat loss to climate change—are more important than ever.
Eco Explorer was created to bridge that gap.
To give kids a way to:
Learning shouldn't always feel like a worksheet.
That’s why every Eco Explorer box is designed as a real adventure—combining:
I’ve loved animals and nature for as long as I can remember. That passion led me to earn a degree in wildlife biology and build a career working with wildlife in many different ways—conducting field research, working as a ranger in a state park, performing population surveys, caring for animals as a zookeeper, and teaching others as an animal educator.
As a kid, I was completely fascinated by the natural world. I spent hours watching shows like The Wild Thornberries, Zaboomafoo, and Bill Nye the Science Guy, and I was constantly flipping through Zoobooks, National Geographic, and kids’ zoo magazines. I also loved nature documentaries and anything that let me learn more about animals and ecosystems. My favorite place in the world was the zoo.
At the same time, I had a big imagination. I was drawn to creativity and fantasy too—books like Dragonology captured my attention just as much as real-world science.
They didn’t just teach me facts—they made me curious. They made me care.
Working as an animal educator, I felt like there was something missing for kids nowadays. Maybe it was just nostalgia, or maybe I knew that kids needed more...
Something that brings it all together in one place.
Something hands-on.
Something immersive.
Something that makes them feel like they are part of the adventure.
I wanted to create something I would have absolutely loved as a kid—not just information, but an experience. Something that captures a child’s imagination, creativity, and excitement about the natural world.
And just as importantly, something that helps kids understand that they can make a difference.
Because even small actions matter—and kids should feel empowered to care for the planet, not just learn about it.
It’s to help kids:
And ultimately…
We believe the future depends on curious, thoughtful, and informed young minds.
